Community

The Links Resource Centre is at the heart of the community and our relationship with other businesses and organisations in the community is very important to us. Just as we like to offer a community atmosphere, here at The Links, we also like to make sure that we are part of the wider community. We are lucky at The Links Resource Centre, Eccles to be supported by the various local supermarkets who help us to raise money for media equipment through their various fundraising activities.

As well as the local supermarkets we also have links with the local colleges and good relationships with local transport providers. It is important to us that everyone feels part of both our community and the local community with access to the local shops and environment and that they feel comfortable within that environment.

Here at The Links we run a social disco every wednesday to meet people from every walk of life. Everyone is welcome and we have an alcohol license with the event being supervised by staff at The Links. It is a great way for people to integrate with others in the wider community and to form friendships and groups within the centre.
